As exams approach we wish your daughters the very best and we assure you that we will give them every encouragement, support and guidance. At this stage attendance at school is very important and we encourage full 6th year attendance every day as teachers are working through questions quite likely to appear in examination papers.
150th SMG Order Anniversary Celebration May 15th:
As a school community we wish to celebrate and acknowledge the fantastic work done over the past 150 years of educational provision in East Cork and beyond by the SMG Sisters who arrived in Carrigtwohill 150 years ago on June 21st 1875.
Our 6th years are the senior school group during this historic year and we know how proud they are of their school and their uniform. The presence of our 6th Years on May 15th at our historic gathering would mean so much to our local SMG Sisters and our school staff past and present. A Mass celebrated by Bishop William Crean and attended by many special guests connected to the school over many years will be held at 11.30am on May 15th. Many of our 6th years will have a crucial role in the Choir and Orchestra at this school community event. Whilst we fully appreciate that many of our students come from different faith backgrounds or no faith background, we really do hope you and they will support us by attending the celebration on May 15th at 11am. The students will have classes as usual that morning so it is vital they be in school as always. This celebration is an opportunity for all our 6th years to gather together and wish each other well as the exams approach.
House Fun Day will be held on Friday May 16th.

We look forward to welcoming you all to join us at the 6th year Graduation at 1pm on Tuesday May 20th in Glenmary. You may arrive from 12.30 onwards.
Please note Leaving Cert Results will be issued to students via the Candidate Self Service Portal on Friday August 22nd.
