In line with Senior Cycle SPHE (Social Personal Health Education), all Sixth Years will be engaging in an RSE (Relationship and Sexuality Education) module. This module will be covered during this term. This module aims to widen and develop students’ understanding and knowledge from their Junior Cycle SPHE classes, Transition Year course. We will continue to build on this learning in Sixth Year.
The overall aim of this module is to empower students to be healthy, resilient, confident, responsible and empathetic young adults; nurture respectful, loving and caring relationships; and prepare for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life now and beyond school. The module provides our students with the opportunity for personal growth as well as building an awareness in their relationships.
