Senior Cycle School and SEC assessment calendar
It is important that you and your daughter take note of all school deadline dates in relevant subjects.
Some points to note:

All SEC dates are listed on the relevant tab on this overview and a school deadline for each project component has been set 1 week earlier than the SEC deadline. This is to support you as parents and to encourage students and parents not to leave project work to the 'last minute'.

Excellence in attendance and engagement with all components of Leaving Certificate work is very important to us at the College. This calendar is provided in support of good organisation.

Deadlines: Experience has taught us that the SEC are very strict about their deadlines for digital submission of project work and a GP certificate will not suffice for requests for a deadline to be extended. In instances where a student is under the care of a specialist medical team and this team can verify that a significant medical issue impacted the student, extension may be granted but there is no guarantee of this.
